Signage for Rooftop School’s “The Voyage of the Blue Marble” 2011 exhibit at the San Francisco
Main Library Fisher Children’s Center. (“The Blue Marble” is a reference to the iconic photo of Earth taken on December 7, 1972 by the crew of the Apollo 17 spacecraft on its way to the moon.) The school’s K-5 teachers each shared a favorite book title for their classroom’s participation in The Blue Marble Project.
