The Rooftop Chorus sings “Imagine,” to close their 2017 Winter Concert on December 11, 2017, a program of songs associated with the Beatles, dedicated to three Rooftop teachers who lead the Friday Sing-a-Long – Cynthia Vaughn, Richard Mattson and Margot Cooke.
The song, recorded by John Lennon in 1971, has become one of the world’s most well-known songs calling for global peace and harmony. Yoko Ono says of the song: “Imagine was created with immense love and concern for the children of the world.”
