ROOFTOP School Vision Our challenging educational program integrates the arts to empower all students to become effective problem solvers. Rooftop’s students are academically engaged and socially responsible members of the community who face challenges with optimism and confidence. We believe that when the arts are thoughtfully integrated into the academic program, students’ opportunities to think critically and problem solve creatively significantly increase. 	Rooftop School has long held an outstanding reputation as a community that encourages student growth, citizenship, and academic success through the arts. In order to uphold our tradition of excellence, we must address the growing need for outreach in the early years of kindergarten. Parent participation is the key to all successful school programs and directly impacts student achievement. First 5's funding of KinderstART, a Parent ACTION project, enables us to provide our incoming Kindergarten families with parent/student education and community-building art volunteer opportunities. We are excited to have this chance to work together with the San Francisco Children & Families Commission to improve the quality of life of Rooftop families and our surrounding community.
